High Holidays
Camping Trip

Join IFFP (the DC group), the Philly group (IFFGP), and IFC (the NYC group) in an interfaith camping experience like no other! There will be plenty of time to socialize with friends old and new. Fort Washington State Park in Fort Washington, PA is the setting for a couple nights of tent camping. The park itself has a huge bird watching platform, playgrounds, ball fields, and a regionally renowned disc golf course. It also has miles of hiking trails and woodlands to explore.

We will also be offering some of the usual camping experiences including arts and crafts, campfire songs, roasting smores, hiking, etc!

Bring your own food for cooking over the open campfires. We have plenty of wood to keep the fires and conversation going late into the evening.

On Sunday morning we will have an interfaith gathering to welcome the new day and new week.

Hope you can join us!

What & Who: Join Interfaith Families from Interfaith Families Project (IFFP, Washington, DC area), Interfaith Families of Greater Philadelphia (IFFGP), and hopefully Interfaith Community (IFC, NYC area) for tent camping in a beautiful state park just outside of Philadelphia.

Activities: We’ll tailor the activities based on the RSVPs once we know who is attending.

Cost: There is no cost for the event, but donations to IFFP are welcome. You’ll need to provide your own food for the weekend. Campfires will be available for cooking. Smores will be provided.

POC: Please contact Felise Shellenberger at iffpvicechair@iffp.org with any questions or to volunteer to help with the planning.
