It is particularly important that people in interfaith relationships deepen their understanding of their own and of their partners' traditions. To facilitate this, we offer a range of seminars, panel discussions, and informal gatherings that provide an opportunity to explore Judaism, Christianity, and issues related to life in interfaith families.

Seminar: Educating Children from Interfaith Families
Wednesday, September 24, 2008, 7:30pm
at St. John's Episcopal Church (4 Fountain Square), Larchmont, NY

This seminar will be led by Dr. Sheila Gordon, the president of the Interfaith Community. In an interactive conversation, she will share her reflections on the implications of raising children with exposure to two religions. Dr. Gordon will draw on her own parenting experiences and on those gleaned from working with other interfaith couples and families over the past eighteen years. Information will also be provided on the Interfaith Community's pioneering new curriculum for children grades K-7. (Classes begin in early January.)

RSVP required. Members free; non-members $20 per person, $30 per couple.
