SEMINARS AND PANEL DISCUSSIONS

Interfaith Community Teens Reflect:
three high school seniors talk about growing up with two traditions

Monday. June 4th 7:00 -9:00pm
The Interchurch Center (119th and Claremont)
RSVP (RSVP required $25/person for non-members, free for members)

These students began their education about Judaism and Christianity in our first pilot course for children in the spring of 2004. As they are about to go on to college and their futures, we are honored that they will join us for this special evening. Each has taken a different and thoughtful path. Their parents and teachers will also participate in the conversation about the students’ unique experiences.

Interfaith marriage and parenting: where do we go from here?

Wed. Feb. 15th 7:30 -9:00pm
The Interchurch Center (119th and Claremont)
RSVP (RSVP required $25/person for non-members, free for members)

So you got through the wedding, dealt with the baby ceremonies, married, had children, even joined the IFC and enrolled the kids in interfaith classes..  Where are you now… as an individual/ as a family?

Let’s reflect together….How difficult/ easy, gratifying/challenging has interfaith marriage been? What are your questions today? (what else could IFC do to be of help?)

We will have IFC members of all generations --  dating couples, families with babies, families with school-aged children, families with grown children – and even grandchildren
