The New York City chapter is the heir to the founding group of families from Manhattan's Trinity School, who created a religious education program for their children in 1987. With our growing network of other chapters, the New York City chapter remains a vital and growing community. It is also a multi-generational community, with young, dating and newly-married couples learning and celebrating alongside many of our original founding members, and their children and grandchildren. Our members are from Manhattan, Brooklyn, and the Bronx, as well as from outside the City.

Our New York chapter offers the full range of Interfaith Community programs, all of which were developed and piloted here. Our Jewish High Holiday Services have become a widely anticipated yearly event, and our Couples Workshops offer a unique opportunity for couples to explore the issues that building an interfaith family can raise. In addition, our adult education programs and children's classes tap the seminaries, universities and rich array of resources of New York City.
