CHILDREN'S CLASSES

The Interfaith Community has systematically developed a curriculum to educate children in grades Pre-K-6 about both their traditions. Team-taught by Jewish and Christian educators, our classes aim to nurture continuity with each faith, but not to blur their differences or to indoctrinate. Instead, we hope to provide children with basic literacy in each, to foster respect for religion and the meaning it can bring to life, to inspire joy and delight in their religious heritages and practices, and to lay a foundation for their own religious journeys.

Celebrating Our Traditions for children ages 3-6 years
Classes held at St. John's Cathedral, 1350 Washington St., Denver

Through stories, songs, and crafts, children ages 3-6 years will actively learn about Jewish and Christian holidays, as well as what it means to be Interfaith. Parents are encouraged to participate and learn alongside their child. Co-taught and co-developed by a Christian and a Jewish educator, the course is designed to spark respect and delight, to teach children about both their traditions and lay a foundation for their own religious journeys.
