Seminar & Discussion: Jews and Christians: A Journey of Faith

Free for members, Non-members: $25 families, $15 couples/individuals.
For the first time ever, a documentary that explores common beliefs, traditions and rituals shared by Judaism and Christianity. Based on the book "Our Father Abraham: Jewish Roots of the Christian Faith" by Dr. Marvin Wilson, it also examines how contemporary Jews and Christians perceive each other, confront prejudice and stereotypes, and how they can understand and respect one another despite their differences. More information: We will explore our own understandings of Jesus and think through how responses to this question may relate to other strategies each family has in its desires for children's spiritual development. We will also explore potential responses to questions about Jesus at varying points of childhood development. Childcare provided.
